@shadow79 well written, but surprised where this is coming from. The king of cheap fixes.
Doing work on own car ain't gonna pay bills you see so I have to make do with whatever I got and always cross my fingers that it lasts for awhile but doing work for my customers I have to keep in mind that they don't have any expertise so I have to make it proper so it lasts...

Sometimes the doors insulation becomes bad or leaks air which goes through the heater core as well will drop cooling while the AC is on so instead of opening up the havc box and sorting it out we too disabled many heaters as opening up dash vs looping off the heater there is a good cost difference so obviously you know what will be chosen customer...

Mine became weak when I once forgot to turn the ignition off (thanks to keyless starting system) and went away later on in the evening when I returned back it was drained but after jump start it just wasn't the same as before and died within a months time after that incident but nonetheless it had run for 4 renewals...

You can find that grade oil in both semi and full synthetic...just try to stick to same brand as different brand use different chemical compositions which can mess with the seals and gaskits in the long run...if you planning to keep the car long time...

Don't worry about the 5 or 10 as that temperature you won't experience here in uae but if the end number be 40 then it would be much better as 40 the viscosity will be good till ambient temperature of 50 plus ℃
And I guess that oil has a light brown tint like light caramel...

There used to be a piece of leather with holes you had to warp it up then warp a string around so it stay put but lately I don't see them anymore that thing I remember used to run long time most others just disintegrate or becomes thick and loose after getting in contact with oil...

It would be better to remove oil and check it again
I think the guy applied 6 cylinder so toss 6 liter principle

Overfilling almost always leads to premature seal failure and increased zeal in fuel consumption
1 cm in many cars means 250 ml to half liter
Better say to measure is warm up then let it sit for 30 other 40 minutes
Or more precise one is to leave it overnight and check 1st thing in morning

I am born and raised here from that time what I have seen is that we have been buying our water...
