Just like to add more that every VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) has 17 alpha-numeric character and it stores the following key information like: Year of make, manufacturing plant, trim code, engine specs, vehicle attributes, number of doors etc followed by unique 6-10 digit of unique number for identifying your vehicle.
