    I;ve found this definition on the Internet and it makes sense! The knock sensor is basically a microphone. Its there to listen for spark knock which is also called detonation, pinging, and pre ignition. This is the condition inside the engine where the fuel begins to burn before its supposed to.

    I usually change it once a year. This is the time when I change all the filters in my car. However, I don't use my car on a daily basis so in case you are driving a lot you should probably do this more frequently.

    Thanks for sharing this info. I've never seen a moonroof on a car. I guess there are Mercedes models with moonroofs. What do you think?

    The simplest solution is to avoid the traffic jam hours (when people go or get back from work). Other than that I don't know what to say - avoid the main roads in Dubai and find a set of good music to enjoy your time in the car.

    I really don't like people who use extreme spoilers on their cars especially on the roofs and it seems that there are too many people in Dubai who do that. These spoilers look ugly in my opinion.

    That's true rattan. The entire Arabian Peninsula has mild winters, so I don't believe that regular winter precautions apply to UAE. However, the tips you've mentioned are all-season tips and they are difenitely useful.
