Well to be honest doing burnout actually means car is slipping due to bad gearing and thats why cant translate engine power to road. Thats where Porsche cars with racing DNA comes in picture to race as fast as they can without slipping or wasting any HP in burnout. On the other side, i know importance of burnout in non theory real life. Try pressing PSM switch off and hold for 10 sec and see if any wonder happen.....?

Yes it is, as even when you switch off the car if car engine temp is slightly above normal car cooling fan automatically kicks in for few seconds / minutes and shut off again. Its very normal in luxury sports car to protect the engine.

which tiers are best for this car and wheel bearing
pinto replied to saleemhazzari's topic in Porsche Boxster Forum in UAE
Go with OEM wheels, if you want peace of mind. Rear bearing change is less than an hour job. -
blower to remove the fog is not working
pinto replied to tipperkar's topic in Porsche Cayman Forum in UAE
It isnt fog blower, it is AC fan. You car must be overheating with AC in traffic. Better get it checked with professional electrician in how to repair or change it. Its very critical and till then keep an eye on temperature gauge and if overheat just pull over and drive w/o AC then. -
Mobil 1 all the way...... Nothing even comes closer to it.

wax polish once every six month is ok. grinding with compound polish once every two years, as it eats the paint too.

pinto replied to tusharg's topic in Porsche 911 Forum in UAE
Better get proper diagnose before its too late. Never heard popping under the car. It may be some clicking here and there but pop sound loud. ah. -
It depends on proper diagnostics. All it cud be small sensor to to the ABS block (big exp shit). Find ur lucky day for diagnostic.

It wont be fuse, it may be some LCD connection must be slight loose or having another electrical part interference. Better get it diagnose in time for electricries.

Better get it checked and then change the brake booster, if needed. As brake booster is the one controlling the pressure in all 4 wheels brake. There must be something wrong or may be less brake fluid (so top up). Dont ignore it.

I too much like specific question. just googled for you and me: The correct torque setting for the oil tanks drain plug and also the oil screen cover is 42 Nm or 31 ft-lb. One more thing i learn today and will remember in next oil change. thanks.

Check if drive shaft is rubbing or very close to some shield or something, Check space between rear tyre and body, check suspension isnt too low that might touch the tyre with mud guard. If not bothering much leave until it increase and you can better catch it. I would check with dealer and ask them to fix it, as if porsche cayman starts rattle then what do i say for other brands.

Porsche uses BFG for their rally needs so it shud be the best if u intend to drive more on desert than tarmac. BFG ATKO 265/65/18 If more on road i suggest Michelin Lattitude in 255/55/18, is perfect for road comfort and occasional offroading. Dont forget to skirt up front bumper if going for serious offroading, cayenne is good in offroad but little low approach angle damage the bumper first.
