check the air by disconnect one side of the fuel filter when u turn the key on the fuel should come out in bulk in case the fuel is little then the fuel filter is clogged or the fuel pump is weak.

Check the relay too, as it might have some relay for convertible function or for convertible motor. If you hear the noise while attempting to convert then motor and fuse is fine and something somewhere is stuck in mechanism for which you need qualified technician only.

Go to electrician from where you got this installed, may be in the process he fingered the fuse or relay of AC fan or something that is stopping the engine cooling.

Should be changed at every 40k km at major service. Do your maths now.

i have a 2006 EOS and i have never had any major problems with the car except this that twice in the last month I have had to top up by coolant when the warning light came on that the coolent is low Took the car to my local VW dealership who tested for leaks. Advised that there were no external leaks but there was some crystalization found on the engine which indicated an internal leak and may need to replace cylinder head. what is that and do i need the dealers to fix it how expensive will it be
