Check for exhaust leak at manifold may be some minor exhasut leak making this frrrrr frrr noise and rough idle.

Well its too hard comment without hearing an exact noise. More than likely its tensioner pulley as cam noise is inside the engine and very unlikely that you can hear it inside the cabin, too far to reach. However best is to show a mechanic and take it up from there, as one need to hear it exactly what type of noise you are getting while hitting the gas.

Have you tried searching for someone who can rebuild the gear, that might cost less. First google, if this mechtronic issue is due to age, then buying used one is risky. If not, used one is good option but still check if rebuilding is doable and cheaper. That way you know it has good life and you will keep track of anything unsuall happening with gearbox in future.

its very expensive to change the instrument cluster. i have even gone to ajman for cheaper option but its expensive there too.

fuse box will be 2000 but if you check in sharjah you will get it for less.

You can take it to independent garage but not the smaller one type. Better take it to VW specialist there are few in Al quoz. Capital Auto (3476664) is good, tried them once and they are professional for VW. For comparing pricing you will at least save 40-50% than dealership pricing. For DSG gear oil better check the manual on what service interval u need to change and go by the book, that's better.
