Black is having earth small wire as well embebed under the main socket, so the point that has two wires (1 thick main wire + 1 slim wire) is black and other one that has 1 thick wire is red. Touareg are very good offroader my friend. They have been winning 3 years consecutive Dakar rally after all. Just protect the under nose in front and you will fly high in any dunes.
