Buying THE Beetle 2012-2014, any thoughts ?

Hi Guys, I'm back after 2.5 yrs lol Just so happy with my 2008 Beetle, Never had any issues, hence no queries for long. I'm thinking about taking a leap into the future. The Beetle 2012-2014 seems too irresistible ! I'd settle for US imported, used ones. Any advice ? Major concerns ? I do appreciate the help. Thanks -

I need to replace battery asap for 2008 beetle Is VARTA a better brancd compared to AC delco? which (other) brand is the most preferred brand for beetle ? Agency will charge a fotune to change battery ...
