I think nothing is wrong with the car, in my experience fuel consumption is higher in Dubai due to the way we all drive our vehicles... for eg.. majority of us never switch off our engines on red signals. sudden breaking and hard accelerating/always ON A/C. traffic jams slow movement of car all this factors play a major causes in car fuel consumption.

Yes ur correct dealer will rip u off with its price for small services.. generally parts are cheaper then the labor charges. you can buy original parts from the dealer and can replace them by ur self.. i have 2014 sportage.. last year i gave my car for servicing at 20000 km they asked for 1200AED
