Cars that overheat in summer month, goes for real dirt cheap price like most of US and EU specs cars, offroad cars that heat up in desert, sports car that heat up in road heat and so on. For japanese there is no down time as they never overheat and you can only get good car at distress sale when someone leaving like derick mentioned above. Buying a used car in dubai I feel best time is either summer break or end of year to drive couple of months for free depreciation, but again you only think in this way if you flip cars more than you drive. So for real end user who buy used car for 3-5 years at least, there is no best time.

I know I'm bumping an old topic, but wanna know if any offroad clubs are still active in this hot weather? Few of us are thinking for a quick short evening drive and bbq with overnight camping if weather is nice at night. Appreciate if someone can give reference of working clubs in summer month.

Jeep forum here is a blessing to have full categorize break-up of all Jeep cars in the UAE. I like it and I love this Jeep Forum here, please don't take it wrong. I need ideas brainstorm to how to make this Jeep Forum busy even more, I am part of lot of off-road forum here in the UAE and people tend to discuss their Jeep problems, upgrades and restoration projects in full length there. Which in my eyes is sometimes irritating as it's an off-road forum and not Jeep forum. I like to understand what all features or new idea we can add here to attract those gazillion jeepers who break their jeeps every week and pick tons of Jeep Forum discussions in wrong place. JEEP FORUM (My idea list): This Jeep Forum with all Jeep brand forum here need to have QR code and short URL that we can circulate easily, and divert that traffic to where it belongs. Get some Jeep specialist and expert here, like good old member or moderator to answer basic to mid level Jeep expert queries for all Jeepers in UAE. Get some Jeep workshop to give discount to those Jeepers, as every off-road forum has one or two fix workshop behind their back to generate that level of regular jobs.

How much $ Toyota make? I see literally Toyota cars everywhere in Dubai and in neighbouring emiarates and every literally second car is Toyota in Dubai. Any idea how much $ Toyota makes? How much $ Toyota make only from UAE? Why people love them so much instead they are highly overpriced here?

Hi fellas, how you all doing....? I am noticing since few days a random wobbling on certain speeds some times. It's not always so its difficult to say what is causing this.It's a slight wobbling and not too much when you get the with unbalanced tires. Appreciate if someone can way to debug this issue.

FJC is more rugged than X, and I def choose FJ over X anyday from the way these both vehicle looks and drive. my two cents.

Toyota's are over priced in my opinion, so if you want to save money with same performance and beter looks go with Xterra. They look strong and not flimsy and have better driving viewing angle than FJC peony window has so many blindspot and difficult shoulder view. Xterra, all the way, any day.

Knocking is constant, gas or no gas. Knocking get worst when car heats up to slight more than normal. which additive can help, please tell me I will buy them.

Hi, I hardly found a solution else for GCC car problem. Finally this Carnity look good and specific to GCC problem. Which caught my attention, and that the first time I saw a Forum in UAE??? I hope I can get the cure for my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. I would like to inform that I had this Jeep wrangler Sahara with GCC spec when I came to Dubai in 2009. Well I hardly had major problem with this car because I used to travel every time with Metro or in my friend car, only Friday or off day I used to drive this vehicle hardly 200 to 300 km a day. It has very nice condition from outside but seem having trouble inside now in engine. It had a run of approx. 140000 Km as of now. Just to inform that whenever I start a car it goes fine until 40 to 50 km of run and after that it started making a tapping or weird knocking sound that get worse after car happen to have heat up. I hardly understand the problem, I check the oil level it pretty fine. I went to the dealer as the car if out of warranty they want me to pay 5000 AED for such a small fix I guess. Whereas I contact the local garage he is quoting me 3200 for this repair. But both of them are not able to tell what problem is exactly!! Does anybody faced the same issue before and what could be a possible repair that I should consider in this situation? Please if somebody can explain me what problem it might have been going through will be great.
