    Hi,

please double  check the tire size of asx . On my vehicle ASX i am using 215/60r 17. When i bought the vehicle the stock tires were yokohama used for 80000km before replacing with nexen. Yokohama tires were always noisy and i faced frequent tire punctures. The current tires nexen i've used for around 50000km and its still running fine and Not much road noise as yet .If you are looking for budget tires nexen tires are fine.i bought them because it fit my budget and the other tire models like yokohama continental and bridgestone tires were too expensive.i bought the tires in 2016 from al Saeedi tire.Price was around Aed 250 / tire.

thanku v much for your reply.

i will double chk the size

and yes nexen are good tires... my car at home country has nexen and they are v good. though they are r12.

Yup gulf coasts is good and in same line you will have plenty of shops, so little research on same street will help identify the good pricing. Just make sure you get 2017 manufacturing date and not 2016 tire

Checked on google, gulf coast has not got that much good reviews. But I will definitely go there and will have market survey before changing tyres.

    thanks for your replies.

  4. Hi Guys...

Currently having ASX 2013  with 71k Km odo.

Now I am planning to change the car in next couple of months. Kindly suggest, what may be other options,.

My range is 35 to 40K dh, with max. 80K km driven.

how is KIA Sportage vs ASX? I like sportage by its looks, price vs features availability....but here on Carnity, i read some negative comments about Sportage (mileage, durability, customer service by authorized dealers etc) So how do you rate Sportage vs ASX overall??

and what may be the other options in this range?? Rav 4, CRV....?? and what else???

Agree with @roburton flush is advisable. May I know how you come to this conclusion of flushing or changing the tranny oil? Any issues with tranny? Or just doing preventive maintenance as you just bought it without any previous service records?

Mitsubishi transmission oil usually advisable to change every 60k (still refer to owner manual) and share more detail like present odometer kms and which model is that?

For finding workshop in Sharjah, click on carnity business listing -> select category of general service workshop -> filter as per emirates (on right)

    https://carnity.com/business_listing/car-services/general-service-workshop/

    @Gaurav thank you for responding.

No issues with tranny, since I bought it 2nd hand, and its 2013 model with 69K km on odo, so just wanted to do this.

Today went to Dexol Sharjah, I read v good comments of them on google (they are said to be best in transmission related problem). and found their service v good.

just a correction, ASX tranny oil is advisable to change every 40K Km as per my discussion with Habtoor motors dubai.
