  1. RSVP IS NOW CLOSED @Ahmed Farouk@Hart@Avilash@Amr Morsy@Chema@Raptor Runner - Praveen@J-P L@Yanis BOUGHEZALA@Raj K@Jinu Varghese@Sebastian Nohse@_Piotr_@CY Bong@Desert Driver@Taka@Thomas54675@Ana@Suneedh Wrangler@Bjoern Thanks for signing up! It looks we'll be having a big Valentine Train Some pointers for tomorrow: 1. Please try to arrive by 6.45AM, so you have some time left to set up your flag and deflate your tires. 15psi is perfect to start and we can finetune later if needed. 2. Make sure to bring your deflator, pressure gauge, a shovel, radio, offroad flag, and your compressor. 3. We will be using Channel 10 on the radio. This is 446.23125Mhz. You can either program this beforehand in your radio or just toggle in the frequency. 4. Take note that the road leading to the meeting point officially belongs to Abu-Dhabi, so there is no 20kmh speed grace Considering the large convoy, the aim will be a smooth flowing drive in the beautiful Marmoom reservation. Nothing crazy difficult. A good drive to just enjoy our Sunday and perhaps spot some camels, gazelle, and oryx. See you all tomorrow!
  2. Hey @_Piotr_ absolutely! These Newbie drives are meant for it so they can also enjoy and get the bug for being in the sand
  3. Hi @Sebastian Nohse, welcome to Carnity Offroad Club! Seeing this would be your first club drive with us, kindly share the following info below: JOINING OUR CLUB FOR THE FIRST TIME? Please share a small introduction and provide the following details: Vehicle Make, Model, Color, and Year Any prior off-road experience (if applicable). Confirmation of front and rear tow hooks / recovery points Confirmation you have a programmable radio and safety flag. 🎥 MUST WATCH BELOW: Newbie Video Briefing (mandatory)
  4. Hey @Suneedh Wrangler! thanks for signing up! This drive will be closer to a "scenic" style. The dunes are not so large and the aim would be to find some "vegetation" free areas where we can practice some skills, followed by a sitdown at the lake.
  5. Hey @Hart welcome to Carnity Offroad Club! You are absolutely welcome to join. I noticed you are now in the waitlist but i will try to accommodate as many people as possible. Make sure to take your time to watch our Newbie Briefing Video in the meantime. Thanks!
  6. I really like the Ranger Raptor and would personally prefer it over a Jeep Wrangler. But few things to consider: 1. A truck bed is something you might have to get used too. 2. The Jeep has a strong solid front axle, while one of the weaker points of the Raptor is the front CV axles because it's IFS (Independent Front suspension). 3. Reliability is debatable amongst those two, but parts availability would be better in Jeep for sure.
  7. bash plate has never been an issue during passing for me. Metal front bumper however is a no-go. Is yours in steel?
