Be careful with the so called heavy duty jump start cable. They look incredibly thick, until you cut them and realize inside there is only like 2,5sqmm copper cable. The reason is because jump start cable is not designed to take a constant load, so they undersize the copper, but put so much plastic insulation around it so it looks like a 16sqm cable Better get specialized electrical single core cable of 16sqmm for this job.

Honestly i was kind of expecting that. More cylinders = more heat, and on top of that if this thing really pulls +90 AMPS then your alternator will suffer too, resulting in a voltage drop, which will then again result in less performance. I think these compressors are great for "occasional use" but not for a weekly dedicated offroader.

Hi @Thomas Varghese that model is definitely a good improvement over the UV5R (which has been in production for a long time already). The fact that it's 10W is not so important. Most Chinese brands hardly put over 3Watts in real life testing. What is a plus point is the bigger battery which should have longer durability.

It will be a 150 - 200 km off-road drive covered within 1.5 days through amazing breathtaking views and the enormous size of dunes on earth. Considering its seriousness to keep you and your vehicle safe, these strict rules will be applied to all. Yes that’s correct, Fossil Rock has always been labeled as a protected area but since a few months they have completely closed it off for vehicles. Around that same time they found some archeological artefacts so they want to preserve the whole area (rightfully so). I do think for hiking it might be open but I’m not sure.
