  1. Welcome @Lvc! Your best option and one stop shop will be Dragon Mart. In the EB section I believe you’ll find all the tools you need.
  2. Hi @Jakob T, The Pajero has a TRACTION OFF button but it unfortunately does not completely deactivate the traction and abs system. It will do so in 4L but you shouldn't be offroading in 4L but in 4H or 4HLc. 4L is only meant for recovery and self recovery. We don't create Whatsapp groups for each event. All information is here on the drive topic. We do have a Whatsapp drive notification group that is used to announce our weekly drives on Monday.
  3. Good morning @Jakob T and welcome to Carnity Offroad Club! The Pajero is totally fine for this trail, but there is just one weakness: the rear bumper scoops up a lot of sand during driving in the dunes and eventually comes off. The best solution is installing a rear skidplate. But if you don't find the time, an alternative option is to remove the rear bumper. Sounds like a lot of work but in reality i takes less than 10mins: If you however prefer to install a rear skidplate, Machinehead in Al Quoz does a fine job. @Pierre-andre Nutte also got one installed together with a front bashplate and flag holder bracket just last week on his stock Pajero. Before entering the sand you will need to deactivate the traction control as well. In below article you can see how that's done: You'll find plenty of information in our Pajero forum: Mitsubishi Pajero Forum in UAE - Carnity.com We have plenty of them off-roading with us and they perform really well. See you soon in the sand! Please make sure to watch our Newbie briefing video to get a good introduction to offroading and how to prepare yourself.
  4. @Nagarjun S after consulting with some of the seniors, they recommended the following while driving your Prado: 1. Keep the Center-Diff Lock engaged while driving. It will give you a better 50/50 power ratio between front and rear. 2. Use Sport mode (if you have that option). It disables the ECO mode function. Thanks @Glenn W and @Rob S for your help!
  5. Congratulations @Abdullah A. for making it into our member of the week spotlight! Perhaps very few people know that you joined Carnity in 2011! That makes you one of the oldest members on the forum! Well done! See you soon in the sand! PS Please share a photo here of your Pajero! It's hard to find one in the gallery
  6. Thanks everyone who joined today! The sand was not very forgiving, which is to be expected as we are now in the smack middle of summer. Nevertheless it was a great morning out and the refusals and stucks are totally normal in this learning stage (and believe me we do like dealing with them) Thanks to @Diego and @Vanessa8580 for the help today you were all in good hands. See you soon back in the sand! You can post any photos you made in our drive gallery: Newbie - Sand Starts Here - Nahel - Abu-Dhabi - 19 July 2026 - Carnity.com
