    Did nobody noticed the absolute knobhead who was taking a selfie while Alonso was flying over the dune ? I have the impression that the spectators were basically forcing him to change direction, they were all in the way.

    On the Pajero it can be completely switched off like this: 1) Switch off the engine, remove the key, open the engine bay, and locate the ABS relay, not the fuse because the fuse is very hard to pull out. The Relay is labeled below as B-17X (B). 2) Start the car, and push a few seconds on the ASC-button to disengage the Traction Control. 3) Go for a spin. You will likely see your ABS light flickering as crazy, but it won't engage or cut the power. I do this on my wife's 2008 Pajero and it works fine. Maybe on the younger pajeros this method is not necessary but i am not sure of that.

    Hi Vic, Welcome to Carnity ! To be honest, i have never heard of this edition. Only found this orange / red stickered LWB one on a Polish website. Are you sure it is available in GCC ? The Pajero can be easily modified to your wishes and budget.

    I definitely would not go more than 300-400mm with ANY 4x4 or SUV.

    The Scandinavians are way ahead on many fronts. They don’t boast about it but just carry on and keep making improvements for society, life, health, and safety.

    Buying an additional smaller 4 cylinder car to save a bit on petrol. Both my Pajeros drink more than a Russian sailor. With my stupid passion for cars that removes common sense thinking that car won’t be a Tida or Yaris which would evidentially be the best option. Lets see what 2020 brings...

    1999 BMW 318 Touring which i bought for 1400 euro. It had already 330.000kms on the clock but bought it and got engine replaced. Did another 120.000kms with it without any issues. oh and even cheaper was a ‘87 Range Rover Classic for 250 euros with the plan of restoring but after seeing the amount of work I sold it for 500 the next week.

    Adding lots of complexity to the mix. But this mix of hybrids will be a common sight until electric completely breaks through.

    Nope, i bought it from an international trucker who took it on his trailer on the way back from UK to Belgium. It still had the UK license plate on it. But classic cars can be definitely registered in Belgium if they are either LHD or RHD.

    Was planning to do the same to this crappy Range Rover that i bought in Belgium, but ended up selling it again to an enthousiast who had more time than me restore it.

    UPDATE: Drive is cancelled due to low sign-up which is expected at this time of year.     Horrible accident. Looking at the dune formation I have the impression he ended up in a very soft patch or indeed stalled as he lost momentum in a split second.
