  1. RSVP IS NOW CLOSED @Emanuel@GregoryHorn@Amal Sunil@J-P L@Mike M.@Arvindraj@Ishak@MICHAEL PAJERO single door Thank you for signing up ! Please find some notes below on the drive: 1. There could be fog in the early morning. Please be safe and don't rush. Leave the house a bit earlier if needed. 2. We will be using Walkie Talkie Radio Channel 4: 446.081 Mhz 3. The plan is an easy leisure drive with a few challenges built-in along the way. It will be more focused on long distance driving with good pace. Not very technical. @Arvindraj as you are joining us for your first club drive (MC completed), please bring a flag and radio. (if you do not have a radio yet, we can lend you one for this drive). I am sure you will enjoy this morning out Please also take some time today to watch the Newbie Briefing Video that was listed in the drive. It contains important information. Once you reach the meeting point, you can start deflating your tyres to 14 psi if you have HT tyres, and around 11-12psi if you have AT tyres. Do not hesitate to approach me if you have any questions or doubts. See you all tomorrow !
  2. On the highway I use the Waze application which shows the GPS speed. Accurate enough for general use and to avoid being flashed. It shows the cameras and their location as well Off-Road - why worry about your speed accuracy ? No speed cameras in sight 😅

  5. Install the Wikiloc app. You’ll find tons of wadi trails, which you can then download as Gpx file and use in Gaia or any other Navigation app.
  6. Hi @Basim K how is the car behaving on road ? Is the maintenance up to date, and has the air filter been cleaned/replaced ? The Y61 is not the fastest 4x4 in stock form but it has good torque and climbing most dunes shouldn’t be an issue. I saw a definite improvement with adding a cold air intake filter (Afe Momentum GT) but even in full stock condition it was going everywhere.
  7. Do you mean this area ? 18.73621, 52.25397 It’s really far out and I dont think you’ll find anyone keen on driving there in mid summer. It’s frequented by some overlanders in the winter months.
