Thanks desertdude. I’ve already booked the first 1000 kms service for next Thursday. Another 300 kms to go. I am just afraid that the warranty might not cover it as they usually say that brakes are not included which will be a bummer considering the car is brand new.

Hi Everyone, This is my first post in this forum. I bought a 2018 FJ Cruiser last week and am overall very happy with the car. I had some questions regarding the first 1000 kms of the car - should I be aware of anything? As of now, I am not speeding and just cruise between 80 - 110 kmph and not going over 2000 RPMs. Another issue that I've faced is that when pressing on the brake pedal, there is a slight jitter/shake that can be felt. I called the service center and they said that this could be as the car is still new and the parts are settling in. However, I wanted to check with the owners here if this is normal in the FJ or has anyone experienced this? Thank you.
