I’ll give you one hint: during wet days and slippery terrain, just keep the car in 4H. Problem solved.ooh i hadn't thought of that, normally i turn off the traction if there is a lot of traffic on a main road that i try and enter specially when its from a brick road cause even when dry those can be slippery, but i have not put it in 4h. I will try that next time instead and see if there is improvement. Thanks!

I am not sure why you would want to disable the traction control on road. If the ground and tyres are wet and the traction kicks in, it is doing what its supposed to be doing, and rest assured with a rear-wheel driven Pajero your car would be easily slipping and might cause you to make a full 360.
Even if you go for a kill-switch, all the lights on your dashboard (ABS, Traction Control) will be fully on, i don't think that is very healthly and re-assuring while driving on-road, hence the suggestion/advice i posted is only for going offroad.
i have had a few situations where i have almost been in accidents due to it cutting power due to a tire slipping so in certain situations i would like it. of course it should be on 99.99% of all times as it serves a purpose.
when offroading it is easy just to pull the relay so for that part it is not necessary.
And of course more buttons = cooler car

I have been searching but not finding any good information regarding an ABS Kill-switch for the pajero. I have not done much offroading but i have realised even when i go out from a gastation ans the ground or tires are wet it will kill the power, even with the "traction control off" button pressed. it only reduces the effect but dont turn it off and its realy anoying when there is alot of traffic.
any one who had one or know where i can get one?

i want a bit more rubber on my wheels to get a bit softer ride and im not sure just switching from HTs to ATs will help with that and 17 is the smallest that will fit according to whats sold with the 3.8

Today i have an 18' rim and im looking for a 17' to get some more meat on the rim to get a bit softer ride hopefully.
So if any one is interested in changing rims with me i have 5 18' rims 4 with used but ok tires (made 2016) and one spare unused (made2016) and want to trade me their 17' rims. Im going to change tires to ATs so the mounted tires is not important.

Had BMW with tyre sensor before and i know Mercedes work the same.
when the sensor warns you you go check your pressure and make sure all corners are the same then you reset the pressure warning.
It is just a change warning not a set value varning.

Just renewed my 3.8 2016 and dropped RSA as they were the most expensive, found Qatar insurance company had cover for everything including rental car for about 1500Aed
and when doing insurance market you get one number for roadside assistance and claims and that is nice.

I had a similar issue as i'm in the IT field. I moved down here and started looking for a job back in sweden i would have a job tomorrow if i moved back but it took about 3 month and 250 applications and more calls, from that i got 1 reply and that's the jobb i have today.
So hang in there and as said so elegant by @Barry make sure you customize your CV to show that you want that specific job especially in the first few lines of the CV.

Its "easy" for a company like Sony to make a car like that to show off but to make it cost efficient and make money on it that is something completely different....

Anyone have a clue if a pair of 275/65/17 will fit without rubbing?? or is a lift needed for that?

Starting a new thread as i was hogging another that was not just about tyres.
i have today 265/60/18 but want to go with a winder tyre and smaller rim.
If i remember correct the second number is height of tyre and its part of with so if i go smaller and wider i should go for 275/60/17 or will it be 275/65/17?
I want to keep as close to the circumference as possible cause i don't think changing will do anything positive.

oooh good to check. but if i have 265/60/18 and go to 265/65/17 with original rims it shouldn't be an issue as the offset and circumference is about the same....

* Type of Rim: 7.5 x 17 means 7,5 inch width x 17 inch diameter. ET46 means a positive wheel offset of 46mm. Lower offset values will make the wheels stick out more.
If buying secondhand be careful that the rims are not bent, and they should be balanced properly.

Not shure if they come in 17 cause i can only find 18 have the thin spoked alu look.
