  1. - It is a sharp and steep ridge, Looks like the dune is being climbed from the slip face side. - Too much speed and wrong angle for sure. - Very unsafe move, Seeing a car already stuck, we should stop, wait and reassess the situation... - Another reason is the show off attitude, showing that my car is better and more powerful. - Very dangerous move, should have reverse straight down. - It was a hard braking as well while reversing.
  2. Very well deserved.... congratulations @Srikumar for the achievement...I did my very first drive with you and you taught me one of the most crucial skill which is how to control the tail when decending....from then I always apply what I learned from you n it was an eye opener for me. Having the control over tail is very important n it is one of the thing we constantly have to do while driving on the sand. Thank you so much for your support, keep it up.
  3. 😜 Must be an undiscovered feature of Pajero...I will try to decode the message 🤣...I hope she does not spills any secrets...
  4. Guys, did anybody had interference and noise with your walkie talkie today? This is the second time when i used Channel 2, i got lots of static noise...I feel the noise is present when my engine is on when i go away from the vehicle or turn off the engine, it stops. I am using a Crony CN-888. Your input will be appreciated.
  5. Thank you everybody for the nice and fun drive. I was glad to be part of this challenge, it was a great opportunity for me to learn more. Today, i had the absolute privilege to drive behind the Legend and i did not lose any chance to observe how @Gaurav was manoeuvering. I kept a close eye on his move, how he was tackling, negotiating and re-routing and i was also trying to understand the reasons behind his decisions made. @Gaurav worked really hard since there was difficult stucks to recover especially the last one before we exit. We also had a tire popped out, which was successfully and swiftly handled by our management team @Wrangeld, @Jeepie, @Gaurav, @Brette...We had some technical issues as well with our Pajeros, the usual transmission over-heating which was solved quickly. Bravo to my co-pilot @Veedooshee for using her investigative skills to find the most probable spot where the number plate of @Rajeevan Vickneswaran got lost, and luckily Rajeevan found his number plate and was spared from the hassle of reporting it to the police and spending money in getting a new plate. I highly appreciate the collaboration and understanding of @Lorenzo Candelpergher for giving space on few occasion where i needed to reroute and to reverse to get more momentum.
  6. @Lisa PembertonI have been to ACE and Speedex around 10 days ago, there was the flag with the suction mounting bracket as well as you wanted a place where you can get in and out quickly right. You can also try the Dragon Mart section EA it is, to make it quicker for you. See you for the drive😊
  7. Thank you everyone for the successful drive, we had no stucks but few refusals that was successfully recovered with the guidance of @Ale VallecchiVallecchi @Vanessa8580 @Denizzalbayrak...there was no need for tow rope, n not even shovel actually. Under the leadership of @Ale VallecchiVallecchi, it was a great opportunity to learn different new techniques since the drive was technical and challenging. @Vanessa8580 did an amazing job as always and today in the middle of the convoy she ensured communication is effective and she kept the convoy together running up and down assisting us. @Denizzalbayrak our sweeper had a tricky job and he did amazingly well...he also helped me when I got refusals and provide valuable guidance to recover and also adviced rerouting when needed. I was driving behind Dr. @Chaitanya D and It was obvious that he is now very comfortable with the Xterra n I can see massive progress. When the track was getting messed up, it was so nice to see him taking the initiative to do minor rerouting and changes to tackle the dunes better. Keep it up...
