  2. Another bucket of drivers perfectly selected to start a weekend just before a relentless desert storm! Being full of sand from bottom to top and feeling a sweet tiredness when you are back home. That's what to expect and we had it! We started like we are having a light dinner with red wine and a beautiful woman sitting in front. Even the wind was blowing cool so I felt sleepy while the sun rising ahead. So decided to speed up as we quickly reached the big dunes behind the Ritchie's bar and did four big loops there with non-stop side-sloping and ridge-riding. But my radio was still so silent while eleven monsters chewing the sand on my mirror without hesitation. After the 5th loop still in silence, I decided to call the Great Spirit of technical dunes to come and help our poor convoy which is only having speed on the dunes without struggling. He heard my call and immediately came to help but I think he took it a bit serious. Started with an innocent crest but immediately turned in a crazy sand party - ropes, shovels, winches flew around like the clashing swords! I tried to explain the Great Spirit that this might be enough for today, but he took it wrong and made me stuck for two successive times while tugging the others! At the end, we had overtime in the sand but met the other cluster of big dunes on the way out and said them goodbye with some speedy side-slopes anyway. Apart from fun (yes, being stuck is also 'fun' part of our game), it was a good educational trip for off-roading with many examples on tugging, positioning, winching, self-recovering, reattempting, advising, helping... Amazing 2nd lead by @Charbel ; carefully watched out the track and re-routed it whenever it was tricky. He had some issues with his 4L engaging which caused some stucks but then resolved after some fast loops. Great job! @Chris Wing brought his wings with him today! He successfully fixed our tail alone whenever it is broken and came to rescue when our head is in trouble in front. Well done! @MUHAMMAD Kashif RAZZAQ lucky to have you today buddy! Thanks to you we had a great day at the end since it could have become a nightmare with such number of stucks. Hats out for your winching show recovering two cars at a time! @Naim Aoun excellent tugging me out with a perfectly fine-tuned power. Outstanding performance by @Daniel Yang @Gilbert Khalil @Christopher Assal @Rodi @Gregory and @Richard Franks in the both high-pace off-roading and dealing with terrible technical dunes. Almost no issues except some small refusals and reattempting. Bravo to all! Special callout to the man of the day @Alexander Holodny. Still cannot believe this was your first Fewbie! You and your Montero were unbelievable, showing off on my mirror with full stock of Fewbie movements. The fun has just started for you friend! Enjoy it! See you all on the sand soon!

  10. I had missed churning sands a lot so was impatient to get in play after my two months long summer vacation. The plan was going through the unavoidable technical part as quick as possible to reach up the play area and enjoy the full speed there. Lisaili desert immediately reminded me how are the rules: don't mess with technical dunes I opened the season by getting stuck myself at the very beginning then the convoy followed the leader I couldn't count how many refusals and stucks we had yesterday. Normally there is no way to finish the track in time with such number of stucks but there was something extraordinary with the convoy yesterday: an unbelievably ambitious team attacking on troubles with an amazing coordination and teamwork! A unique selection of club members worked like fighter ants to sort out multiple and simultaneous stucks, dividing into teams shoveling and tugging all around without waiting for a call. Perfect example for a part of the Carnity team! I will never forget this convoy! Our driving pace was slow at the beginning due to stucks and refusals but our speed was amazingly high during recovering them out! In this way we were able to reach to Margham and surf on the dunes for the last hour of the drive. Our magical first timers; @Pierre de Maigret did his first second leading, perfectly responded to my last minute warnings and saved the convoy from falling bottomless bowls. @Ben84 did his first sweeping, keeping our eyes at the back of the convoy for the full time and helped rescuing each trouble with his shovel and rope. You both will find handling SL/SW a piece of cake in your upcoming drives after yesterday's experience I believe No word to tell how @Veedooshee was so i will not try much. She simply saved our drive! Her flying pajero was everywhere needed, advising, coordinating, shoveling, tugging and joking! Now I have to support at least 10 drives of @Anish S to compensate her yesterday's support 😏 Each driver in the convoy was excellent, having strong rhinos under their feet. Hats out to all from experienced drivers @Warren Flay @Kenneth Bollhardt @JamesThorn @Marwan Haddad @Daniel Yang to the fresh fewbies @Naim Aoun @Ahmed Wagdy. Outstanding performance in dealing both small technical dunes and high-speed ridge-riding / crisscrossing 💪 You are now much higher on the off-road ladder going to upper Carnity levels. Thank you all for your support, friendship, fun and performance. Let's meet in the next!

  16. Excellent drive welcoming me back to the sand after a long and lazy summer! Thank you @Wrangeld for our first pain-free drive from the beginning. Hope to continue this pace I was a kind of lazy CF today since @Alex Raptor and @Niki didn't leave me much to do. Thank you both! Amazing drivers in the convoy with only a few stucks and refusals which have to be some in each drive for fun! Congrats @Warren Flay @Pierre de Maigret @Chris Meir @Richard Franks @Christopher Assal Special callouts to our fresh fewbies @Adam James and @Jason Grima. Unbelievable performance at the tail of such a convoy! Bravo! See you on the sand again
  17. Nothing much to add to the excellent drive report by @Shaaz Sha . Although we couldn't reach to the playground at Margham as we had planned, it was really nice being with club friends and sweating together to sort out successive pop outs. At least we made good workout to be fit for the summer in front 💪 Everyone did great during the first part of the drive, which was on the technical terrains requiring qualified skills. Except pop outs, nothing serious happened and we all crushed the soft dunes! Special thanks to @Yousef Alimadadi and @Shaaz Sha for their extreme efforts during pop outs and tire replacements. There wouldn't be any chance to sort these out without you both guys! @Nikiwas excellent again on 2nd lead and saved the convoy from falling into dark pockets for several times. Great effort he gave also for pop outs and thanks to him as we used his spare tire to quit @PaoloMaraziti @PaoloMaraziti it is nice to hear that you safely reached to the workshop and resolved the issue cheap. Thank you for all your support during the hard work. ...and of course millions thanks to @Wrangeld for supporting me today. The plan was keeping him in comfort at the back, just like doing a soft desert safari on a caressing pace. But it never goes as per the plan when I and Richard are in the same convoy The angel of events likes to tickle us whenever she finds us together... @Zixuan Huang - Charlie @Marwan Haddad @Karthik Krishnakumar @Nihal17 @Nathan Evans @Ranjan Das thank you very much friends for your performances, patience and help. it was a nice 'good bye' for me to the desert for this season as i'll be on vacation until september. Until then, have a lovely summer, enjoy the desert and stay safe! See you all on september!
