  1. You did great today @Aisha S.. impressed with your driving skills and how good you managed your capable ride.. in addition for sure to your great team work and unmatched passion for shoveling 😉 What is your next wish?!🤣
  2. so it turns out that you are only a good SL but also a talented writer.. great summary @Gregory... you captured almost all the highlights of today's drive. As I said in the drive debrief, we plan for the drive but on sand you have to go with the flow and as you rightly said expect the unexpected. I am glad you, your son, and the rest of the convoy enjoyed the experience and all the skills practiced.. I believe the key takeaways from today can be summarized to: - a shovel and a tug robe are your best companion on the sand.. specially a proper shovel 😉 - teamwork is key, despite of how tough and challenging the drive looked, we all had fun and came out better drivers because we worked together as a TEAM - in tough situations, staying cool and thinking and acting fast is key to safe outcome, @Zixuan Huang - Charlie you demonstrated all today and can't thank you enough for your quick grab of the fire distinguisher and correct use of it.. I have seen before people struggling in panic and unable to remove the safety pin and properly direct it to the source of fire.. you ticked all the boxes on this item today.. well done and THANK YOU🙏 - having the "RIGHT" distance is key to avoid tricky situations.. today's last stuck with 3 cars was the lead example - momentum and tight control of steering is key.. in today's drive most of you did very well in the technical tight dunes which means you have very good control on the steering when moving in low speeds... next is to start doing the same with the speed ramping up and that what will get you to enjoy the long range dunes without high risks of stocks or God forbid rolls Again, thank you all for the wonderful company today.. hope to see you soon on the sand

  11. Team.. wanted to give an update about what happened with my radiator.. turned out one of the 2 plastic tanks on the side of the aluminum radiator (driver side) had a tiny crack at the top and hence with high pressure resulting from high coolant temp it started to steam coolant out through that crack. I was lucky it was top side so after we added water and exited the leakage was very minimal even when driving with the car yesterday and today on the quest for repair . the interesting part is my garage and all the radiator shops they contacted said the whole assembly of the radiator has to be replaced all together and the tank can’t be found separately.. the quote was scary.. decided to try my luck at scrap yards and managed to find a the tank at a shop who agreed to sell it to me without the rest of the radiator assembly.. I got it and then tried to look for a radiator shop take out the radiator assembly and replace my old side tank with the one I bought.. turns out this is another challenge as most radiator shops at Ras Alkhour said they don’t do or they will charge ridiculously high price for the swap. after looping around on the streets of Ras Alkhour, I was lucky to land a real gem for radiators.. surprisingly they have everything from full radiators, accessories, and most importantly brand new tanks for almost every car.. they didn’t mind doing the swap with the one I bought from Sajaa at a very reasonable price compared to the others after they installed and applied high pressure to test it we found it leaking so I took it out and got a brand new one from them (surprisingly almost at the same price of the one I got from Sajaa scrap shop!! If only I knew) They are extremely professional and I was surprised by observing them throughout the whole process.. so I am posting this in case anyone faces the same situation and told you have to pay a 4 digit number to replace the full assembly.. you don’t.. and also don’t go to Sajaa as there is no way you can be sure of the quality specially with items like this.. I won’t post details of the shop here respecting Carnity’s policy but happy to help if anyone need to know where they are.
  12. I second that.. it’s all about the company and teaming .. all of you guys played excellent team work through the drive despite of the vast number of challenges (stucks, refusals, shoveling, tugs, winche, pop out, spare tire replacement, and finally a radiator problem).. everyone not only drove amazingly well on this often unvisited track with mix of hardcore technical and gliding through large dunes and bowls.. fantastic.. can’t ask for a better team.. and @Alex Raptorloved your new jack.. @Rizwanm2 hope ur car steering is sorted .. tried to call after we exited but ur phone was off; I guess you dropped asleep hope to see u all soon
  13.
