Why Do You Get Stuck More on Some Days Than Others?
M.Seidam replied to Gaurav's topic in Off-Road Club's Discussions
Very good topic to discuss and share. I believe both driver factors and none driver factors come here . my experience: driver factors : I noticed when I drive Solo rarely I get stuck maybe because I choose terrain carefully and focus and concentrate more as I am on my own . However in most of the unlucky situations I am prepared to get away Solo too except my rare cases that mandated leaving my car ( once happened ) or calling for help . On the other hand while I am leading generally I get stuck but less than if I am following . None driver factors can be divided to environmental ( weather change , visibility , sand texture after rain … etc ) and car related ( popout complicating stuck , mechanical …etc ) . i believe that driver factors at least with me takes 80 percent and none driver factors 20 percent -
Every off-roader must know: What Went Wrong?
M.Seidam replied to Rahimdad's topic in Off-Road Club's Discussions
The FJ guy was lucky as he did the right thing to steer down ( look at the front tires ) but the super soft sand bogged his front and the momentum lifted his rear to near flip Tip to the above generally if you climb on 2 descend on 2 if you climb on 1 descend on 1 -

DRIVE DESCRIPTION Hello and welcome to Carnity Night Drives. Few points worth mentioning here regarding desert driving at night, more to be emphasized and reminded during the brief at the meeting point:- 1. No need for offroad lights except for car number 1 . If you have them, that’s ok to use them unless the front car asks kindly to let it off. All you need is to follow strictly the front car. The high beam stock lights/fog lights are adequate for convoy trips 2. Always see where you step ( hand torch or headlight ) during inflation, deflation, and during the breaks. 3. Try to avoid the bushes when out of the car. 4. It’s highly recommended to have your legs and feet covered, as creepers like exposed feet and legs 😅 5. Always carry your radio wherever you go. 6. The speed and distance between cars fall in half of that during a daylight drive ( will talk more in the brief ) 7. Desert driving rules hold valid and are more emphasized here as we are bound with limited visibility. Last but not least, night drives are a different world to explore and experience. It’s nice, cool, and it’s another level of enjoyment. Once you master it, I assure you that you will be able to see without seeing, and to you, the darkness will become as clear as the daylight. “ MUST READ AND COMPLY Environmental Policy Offroad Flag Guideline Two Way Radio Guideline Off road Driving Etiquettes Emergency details for all off-roaders Off Road Driving - Roles & Responsibilities First time with Carnity Off-road Club: Please share your vehicle details - Make, Model, Color, and Year.
