@Bjoern, in that case, your wife can join with Gaurav’s absolute newbie convoy as they will be driving the easy path to camp point. I would also suggest you join that convoy, so you can support your wife in deflation etc. Please note Gaurav’s convoy has different starting point which you can find in his convoy list.

Thank you all for joining the drive. It was a pleasure to camp with @AlexM, @Haitham Khattab and @Brett Eicher , enjoyed stories around the campfire. We had a pretty strong convoy that allowed me to keep pushing the limits. Covered great Nagrah climbs from different sides. We only had to take out the ropes couple of time. enjoyed every bit of the drive. Great team effort. Drive stats:

@AlexM, @Haitham Khattab & @Brett Eicher The below image has the drive start point. You will find a track near it which I marked in red. I was thinking we camp somewhere around the yellow highlighted area which should be away from city lights, if not we can go a bit more deeper inside. This is a reference location for the area https://goo.gl/maps/doCosJKjPdZQftd18. @AlexM, I think you will be the first one the reach, so you can have a look around and let us know the exact location. Try to carry as light as possible as we have a FB+ drive tomorrow and we don't want things flying inside the car. Make sure you secure the things properly inside. I will set up a WhatsApp group so we can coordinate there.

Hi @varunmehndiratta, I am using 285/70/R17 KO2s for my JL. Now completed 80k km. After my last service I was told I can still use it for another 15k km. So from my experience I can say it is long lasting. It is better to have more clearance especially since we are off-roading. While installing my 285s, I was told it easily fit for stock lift and it did. But when ever I went to the dunes especially fb+ drives and above, during any bumps my tires would hit the fenders and the fenders would come out of the sockets. I also damaged some of my fender sockets. So in order to have the peace of mind I installed 1.5" spacer lift without changing the suspension, so that I could avoid the tires hitting the fenders and now it does not hit anymore. Since we into proper off-roading I would suggest having more clearance and not going for the max size you can accommodate. Cheers!

Look no further, as in Fayah you will find them and they are surrounded with treacherous technical dunes, consuming anyone that dares to enter without the utmost respect this area deserves. Correctly described by one of our members as "Qudra on Steroids", this place has everything in store for a great morning out ! Congratulations Doc @M.Seidam -
@Rajiv Sam @Felix Obst @Sunil Mathew @Vaibhav @Ashok chaturvedi @Waqas Parvez @Karthik Raptor Thanks you all for joining the drive. Everything was perfect: the convoy, the pace and the beautiful weather. It was a fluidic drive where I never had to slow down or hold for any recoveries. We could drive with the continuous momentum. We tried a lot of climbs before sunset. Surprisingly the big red area had hard sand because of the rain, so we tried to concentrate our fun near the pink rock area. We had many breaks, the last break area was really elevated allowing us to enjoy the view and weather. Thank you all for the team work and looking after each other. See you all soon. Cheers!
