Hi Suneedh… @Suneedh Kkumar I appreciate your enthusiasm buddy, however this is Fewbie drive and you will need to complete your 5 newbies first and then apply for a Fewbie promotiom to be eligible for drives at fewbie level…I see from your profile that you are our newbie Carnity family member.. you may not be able to join this drive. Hopefully soon I will see you through the levels and joining fewbie level drives soon…

Please let us know if there are any change in plans as we still have Zubair in waitlist. Our aim is to combine the elements of the previous skill drive series and apply that to navigate the most difficult ( for many off-roaders) aspect of dune surfing-- The technical dunes!! We would enter the dunes just off the Lisaili camel track and pass through some long range dunes , eventually navigating through the technical patches.. This is going to be a slow moving drive with little / no opportunities of long climbs, ridge riding as we would be focusing of using as less engine power and rely on Momentum and driving lines. Driver fatigue is a common occurrence in such drives and hence we will be going in/out of the drive objective areas to relax and free up.. Please come well rested and plenty of water! @Looper @Davie Chase thanks for signing up.!!! Convoy order will be announced during briefing. I will see you all at 5.30 am..

Hey @Jerry Han You can check the following thread.. Does the AC come back on as you slow down? try driving at 100 kmph on the highway ( on long drives) and see if you still have the issue.. I have recently experienced that when i drive at speed limits, the AC air is not as cold as it is when i drive at 100- 110..

Probably have pissed off a Ton of patrols trying to overtake my pajero!!!

Side sloping is an important skill while navigating the desert. This technique is very fun and addictive, but it needs to be executed with a clear mind and a good experience with the behavior of the car. That is the main reason why this technique is only used from Fewbie level onwards. It is very critical to understand how gravity works and as we always says: " DO NOT FIGHT GRAVITY ". this applies to this technique most of all. I see that we have no more waitlists for this drive as all of them have been accommodated to other drives or not able to join due to own reasons. Sad indeed! This shows the risk involved in every adventure activities be it paramotoring or off-roading or any other extreme sports… following the safety instructions and rules are of paramount importance…still sometimes things go the wrong way and even the most experienced can have a hard day.. rip

This drive is the Fourth edition of the Skill Drive Series which had been posted in previous weeks for Ridge riding, criss cross ,Technical terrain navigation, Side Sloping and Slip Attack We would be focusing on Driving straight up and Over the dunes on this Drive. The idea would be to learn more about your car capabilities of handling at low Speeds and finding the right momentum to get it across the dunes. There is an additional element to this drive... we would all be driving with Max RPM of 2000-2200!!.. this means you will need to control your throttle, play with tiptronics to get going... Also please confirm if there are any changes in your plan.. @Pacific @Rob S be prepared with Shovels and Ropes!!
