  1. Congrats @Emanuel! Well-deserved my friend! @Carnity just enriched its arsenal with this addition as you embody all what it takes to be part of the Support Team! Kudos to the captains of the club's ship as well for having their hearts and minds in the right place and to continuously having their eye out on instilling a certain image and spirit in the club. Hats off to you guys! @Gaurav@Srikumar@Frederic
  2. My training ground was Big Red. It’s the best place to get the highest ROI on mastering both options. Just Food for thought next time you’re in that area.
  3. There are 2 options from experience in this case for the 3.8L as the loss of power is due to having passed the 5500 rpm. Option 1: Triptronic at first gear: Try not to let the engine pass the 5500 rpm which is tricky and with time you will be able to spot that twilight zone from the sound of the engine as you wont have time to look at the rpm because in parallel you need to do little lefts and rights to keep the traction going. Option 2: Get a LOT of momentum to get you in second gear and climb as high as you can (i know easier said than done) and then shift back to first to give you that needed push at the top. The challenge in this option is to find the sweet spot to know when to downshift to keep the optimal rev level. My advice is to ease off the gas just a bit when downshifting as the substantial added torque at the downshift lets you dig rather than propel you forward and then floor it. You have to find that place where just enough throttle is needed to keep the momentum going and then floor it again. I could be sharing things that you probably already know, if not, hope this helps others as well.
  4. Thanks @Frederic for today’s drive. The track was flowing like water. A perfect and balanced mix between some play and a fluid drive. Couldn’t have been a better one. Thank you to all the supporting members as well. Everyone was all over the convoy and specifically the new joiners like an iron net. To all the new members that joined @Carnity, this spirit and mentality of passing it forward is what makes this club unique. It’s not about extreme driving or a chest pumping contest, it really boils down to this specific point which is the community feel and team spirit. Freddy, one more, no pressure
  5. This was @Frederic’s plan to keep it a Newbie drive by using the truck as a sand plower to keep the track smooth and tidy for the new guys.
  6. Great looking rims! @Frederic. Thanks for today!
  7. It was good seeing you again buddy and it was awesome watching the White Rhino on the sands for the first time in a Third Party Point of View . Looking forward for our next drive together and now it is my turn to figure out the Black Raptor, bit by bit, until I get some kind of reasonable control over it
  8. I love this picture for 2 reasons. A reminder that the sand knows no big or small. Another reminder that sometimes the easiest of terrains can be tricky. The third reason of 4H vs 4L, I’ll keep to myself 🤣 Thanks @Frederic !
  9. Looking forward to tomorrow’s drive for many reasons. Other than the fact that this will be my first Carnity drive after monthsss of absence, this will be the first drive where The White Rhino and The Black Raptor are in the same convoy 😎 @Emanuel Not to mention that I missed driving with you @Frederic🤓
  10. Congrats @Luke K P! Happy to read this. Well deserved buddy !!
  11. @Julien Recan a fastened zip tie will not slide down. I would recommend for you to go after the zip tie solution, also recommended by @Luke K P as it will do the job for sure. It all depends on ur preference of course.
  12. @JeromeFJ you can always say that you were going after the design of the “fleur-de-lis” to make it more French and that was the closest design they had 🤓. Hope you have been keeping well!
  13. Hi @Julien Recan, your cheapest and best option is to zip tie it. You can use 3 zip ties in a row to make it rotating. I am sure you will figure it out once you put the first zip tie by what I mean that you need 3 connected to each other. A more fancy way of doing it which customized flags use are Rubber lined P clips. Offroading Flag poles usually need the 3/8" size. Here is one example of what I mean: https://www.amazon.ae/HSEAMALL-Stainless-Steel-Rubber-Clamps/dp/B07RVJYTQY?th=1 In general, the fastest, efficient and economical way is to just zip tie it. Hope this helps.
  14. @Carnity Here is the new owner of The White Rhino! Congrats @Emanuel !!!! it turns out that the White Rhino has a preference to Canadian owners ! 🤣 Enjoy it man ! I am sure you will give it all the love and care it deserves!
  15. Hi @Emanuel, I would love to keep the White Rhino in the @Carnity community as it was born and raised here. If money is an obstacle at this point, we can workout a payment plan between us especially that I know you in person. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that there will be no Pajero similar to this car as no shortcuts were taken in building it. If it was not done at Al Habtoor, the modification were made at the premium garages in Dubai which usually charge 2x, 3x the market price for labor (Not allowed to name names @Gaurav ). All the mods are the highest a Pajero can have, if not custom made specifically for this car. The engine is fully stock and I did not a drill a single hole in the car, everything was carefully designed and built. This car cost me over 170K and selling it at AED 105 in 2 years time is a catch for a very lucky buyer, if interested. Hit me up if I can be of help in any way. hi Theo, I would have not let go of this car had I not found a car that ticks all the boxes that I was getting through multiple cars. I had the Jeep 392 in my sight as well as the new Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro and then suddenly I see the new Ford Ranger Raptor which combines the capabilities of the only two cars in my wishlist in one formidable truck. This Pajero was built to stay for a long time until the urges in my head won over the logical thing to do
  16. Hi @Carnity, I am sharing this here as I would want for the Carnity community to benefit of a very unique car before placing it in the public market place. I'll give it a week before putting it on sale in public. @Gaurav, @Frederic and @Srikumar I know Carnity is not a marketplace but this car is too special to go to a complete stranger The White Rhino is a high-end and probably the most maintained and pampered Pajero in the GCC, with the most premium add-ons available for a Pajero in the market. Fully maintained and serviced at Al Habtoor with an existing dealer warranty (Until End of Jan 2025) and extended service package (4 Free Services). 17. Hi Andrei, Sorry to hear that. I would suggest once you do your research and tap into @Luke K P's experience, book a test drive to get a real feel of the car as this is only thing that will either keep you going in the same direction or look for something else. I personally think that there is no vehicle like it in today's market. it is a Jeep 392 and a Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, combined in one truck (Coincidentally the only two vehicles In my wishlist). Best of luck!
  18. Thanks @Luke K P for taking the time. As you said, price point to power and features it seems to be the vehicle that has the answers to most, if not all needs. I will go check it out soon in the agency but I think the raptor is 265 k aed right ? For me , I have been eyeing the new Tacoma as I think the 2024 has next-level features while having the wrangler 392 in my wishlist for the raw power and torque. Then I see the Ranger Raptor by accident (didn’t know about its features and capabilities) which for me is both cars in my list, combined! (Minus the impact dampening seats from the Tacoma and a few bhp and torque from the 392 ) but seems to be more refined for a daily driver, at a much lower price point, with the ability to customize the bed to personal preferences and taste. Check out “Ute master” lid load in case you didn’t buy a bed rack or tonneau cover yet. They’re offering something really unique and practical, compared to anything in the global market, but I’m not sure if they ship to the UAE. Thanks again!
  19. No not yet…. Exploring for now …..I feel like having a new project after building the White Rhino… thinking a pick up truck has more options to build as well. Let’s see whether logic wins or urges win since the car is still under warranty and it is one of the most premium and most pampered Pajeros out there
