  1. You are most welcome @Abhishek Chikara never hesitate to ask as many questions as you like, that’s what we are here for 😊
  2. Thank you all again for a brilliant drive today! Some amazing first timers! Honestly not one person I would have guessed it was their first Drive from the level we saw this morning! in fact the worst stuck of the day was me 😂😂 really enjoyed it and really hope to see you all again soon!
  3. As Morpheus once said…. Welcome to the desert 😎
  4. That’s nice of you mate, it’s Gary that’s installing,
  5. Not sure of shops, but I find desert cart has better Availability of wire then Amazon
  6. The draw is mad 55amps but split over two fused wires, which is why you have 2 x 40amp fuses for the ARB it’s a split circus so the if one fails the other one still runs in most cases. They actually pull around 27amps each so copper 10 AWG would be fine, but 8 would definitely cover it. I went with 10 AWG but it’s only in the back seat so was around 8 feet of wire. but make sure this is based on copper not aluminium, aluminium definitely go 6 AWG
  7. Totally agree mate! As a wise man once said. Cheap things are expensive….as you end up buying them twice 😂
  8. Yeah thank you @Davie Chase for a great drive today although it nearly killed me 😂 my fitness levels were definitely challenged! Couldn’t have done without @Bjoern who’s winch definitely saved the day! And that cold bottle of water from your fridge saved me 😂 was great to see everyone still in good spirits at the end even tho we were waaaaay over time! So thank you to all of you for your patience. I think we all probably learned something today! I know I did 😊😊 you all drove brilliantly today and I look forward to seeing you all again in the sand soon
  9. @Frederic thank you for a great morning out it was a lovely drive, the convoy effortlessly moved through the desert! Some impressive driving from drivers new to the desert! Was very impressed with the level this morning and I felt a really nice team spirit today which made it even better, you don’t get that on every drive so makes it even more enjoyable. thank you all and hope to see you again soon.
  10. Well done JP! And enjoy the next level, your a great driver 👌🏻
  11. Make I thought you were in intermediate already ha !! so enjoy the new level well deserved mate
  12. Thanks @Davie Chase as always a total pleasure! Always Great to see @Gary F and @Benjamin fantastic to drive with you guys. @Jon L great to see your skills growing and really love the way you take the feedback so openly and learn more each week! Maybe worry about those fuses for when you’re totally at ease with your car in the sand 😬 @J-P L great drive! You’re getting to know how to get the most out of your Jimny and you showed some good skills today and instincts to turn down when necessary which is great. @Giacomo as Davie said great drive, you drove behind and in front of me today and was a pretty solid drive from what I saw, so keep doing what your doing mate 👌🏻 Was actually cool being a small convoy being able to really look at each driver, @Davie Chase think swapping the convoy around a bit was a good exorcise and would be good to do it more 😊 hope to see you all again soon and enjoy your weekend
  13. That’s great mate, funny how those small pointers can change things. but yeah definitely all about smooth lines. I remember when I was FB+ started to get confident and make mistakes so spent a few drives purely focused on being as smooth as I can and it changed my driving style so much! But well done mate great drive
  14. You had a great drive, your control has advanced so much over the last few months mate! Great to see you enjoying the IM drive! im sure you took some good pics too but they didn’t load 🤣 thanks mate and see you out there soon
  15. Thanks Jerome, really enjoyable drive on my first IM drive in a while. Everyone drove fantastically! Real nice mix of terrain and the pace was great. First drive I’ve done 100% manual too which added a little fun for me, but the paddles make it easier 😬 look forward to driving with you all again soon
  16. Thanks @Davie Chase always a pleasure to drive with you. Everyone drove great, was great to see people picking up on little mistakes and making corrections in the driving style! It’s a learning process and hope everyone had a good day out, nice team spirit today too which is always nice to see. Thanks everyone and see you again soon
  17. Good to see you in the hot seat today, showing Davie how to drive properly 😂😂
  18. Ah sweet! Didn’t notice! With the 20 cars 😂😂 but yeah see you tomorrow then 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
  19. Short and fun! Wish I was out but working today! We have a huge convoy tomorrow on Gaurav’s drive should be fun! Too 😎😎
  20. Don’t apologise for rerouting mate, if you feel you need to steer down then do it, better to be safe. as you get used to your car in the sand you will make changes, especially with long wheel base, I always take turns wide for example at the top of a steep decent to get as straight as possible.
