Good afternoon Sand Seekers, @essam ibrahim, @Carl Stanley, @Guido Ferriani, @Andreas Riis, @Michael asir, @Gary F, @khlief, @J-P L, @Ahmed Farouk, @Haneef Thayyil, @frederic demolder. Thank you for bearing with me during my first lead, and it was certainly one to remember! We set out to reach solar tower, hit some technical dunes and ride on the side of long-range dunes. we managed to hit one of those objectives and that was technical dunes 😄 the closer we got to solar tower the more vegetation there was nearly making it impossible to find clean dunes to zig-zag on. However, even though the extreme overlanding everyone drove absolutely incredible considering the conditions. The best way to describe the drive would be Jurassic Park, with the heavy foliage down to navigating the darkest areas even to finding a tipped over porta-potty in the middle of nowhere I hope everyone enjoyed the exploration Lisali had to offer. Even if we didn't hit the planned route due to dense forest, I had a blast, hoping everyone else did too! @essam ibrahim We haven't driven together in a long time and you're driving has massively improved, so well-done mate with these conditions it really wasn't easy and yet you managed to keep the VXR flowing through the dunes with no issues. @davie c smooth operator Thanks for letting me lead your convoy and providing helpful feedback so I can continue to learn more from you, I remember the early days when I just hit support, and you were the advisor the first thing I said was "maybe you will be teaching me how to lead someday" and here we are, so it was awesome to see you being the first (now marshal) following in second lead showing me the ropes, enjoy your holiday mate. Massive thank you to @frederic demolder and @Gary F supporting the convoy, there was a lot of work to do, and I could be rest assured that you guys had my back Thanks again everyone, hope you had fun especially if it was your first time seeing just how dark it can be in the sand. @davie c smooth operator and @Gary F looks like we need a team desert flyers bridge building team for every exit. especially if my 'thing' is going to end up being forests 😆 just kidding though going to figure out how to find sand next 😄

@khlief unfortunately you won’t be able to join along with the FB+ convoy as your still a Fewbie driver. However once you apply for FB+ after your 10th Fewbie drive we will gather your periodic feedback and will continue appropriately. thank you for understanding mate @frederic demolder no worries mate. Unfortunately we can’t take everyone here however @DP1011 has kindly offered to take you on a FB+ morning drive Saturday 30th of November from 0730 to 1100 If there is any interest please reply to this post or like it. And I’ll let DP know. @ChrisW Many thanks mate, it's been a true pleasure driving with you more recently and I'm looking forward to many more drives together! Stucks and refusals just like this one are like their own little puzzles which is what makes this hobby so enjoyable, apart from the high adrenaline dunes that is... 😄I remember this refusal clear as day. Looking forward to catching up soon lad. @Imran Asghar Much MUCH appreciated Imran!
