  1. @Islam Soliman hardly I removed my self from the list. Had a plan change. See you next time. Thank you.
  2. @Simon D this was the first time for me to drive under your lead, and it was a great drive. The tracks were fulfilling the crave for desert drives from high speed flat tracks, technical dunes, side sloping, some ridges. I believe everyone had fun with the drive. Thanks again for a very good lead. See you on the next drives.
  3. Sad to know that you are leaving @Hisham Masaad. I have been in your drive a couple of times. You were always calm and master all the dunes. Hope to see you again soon. I really enjoyed to drive with you. Wish you health and happy as usual.
  4. @Frederic noted with your suggestions. I had been busy with overseas travel these two months and no opportunity to join offroad drives. Will remove myself from this list. Thanks.
  5. @Fredericthat is true. I had the same issues with the tire shops. And during the FWA (front wheel alignment), they mostly didn't want to adjust the camber and caster (probably they dont really know 🙃). What they did was only for toe in adjustment of tie rods. Only one shop that I finally found adjust everything in Sharjah, and they torqued the bolts properly, but not sure now if still the same servicemen work there.
  6. @Stumpy Paj sometime the voltage level did not drop when crank attempted, is due to not much current flow accross the solenoid contact to rotate the starter armature when you have a bad solenoid contact. However, it will be perfect to replace with new starter 👍.
  7. @Stumpy Paj Did you check the voltage drop accross the starter solenoid contact? Basically the voltage on the big terminal on the starter solenoid (which is connected to the battery cable positive) should be the same at the other big terminal to the starting motor. You can use multimeter on VDC connected at both big terminals, one lead on the battery+ and the other lead on the starting motor terminal. When you energize the solenoid, read the voltage drop. Should be less than 1VDC drop on a good contact. If more than that, probably the solenoid contact is faulty.
  8. Thankyou everyone for the support. Will need your guidance to keep on learning about offroading on sand dunes 😃
