  1. Thank you so much for leading us @Davie Chase and @Frederic and helping me with the necessary equipment (off-road flag, tyre inflator, radio). I was a bit nervous in the beginning since I have never ventured into the desert while being on the driver seat (being the first one after the leads also added some pressure ). But it was so much of fun and learning to be honest. I got to learn so much in this drive. I never knew what a pop-out was and definitely didn't know how to fix it. Having observed such challenges made me realised that experiences and learning are as much a part of the drive as the thrill of driving itself. Being an absolute newbie, I was expecting myself to make some mistakes to be honest, and I lived up to my expectations, lol. But I feel good about the learnings more than feeling bad about the damage that I may have done to my car. And I believe it was necessary to learn this in the beginning of my journey, as making these mistakes would have costed me much more if I made them in more intense drives. Thank you @Imran Asghar and @W a q a r for managing the convoy from behind. The drive would not have been this smooth without your support. And thanks to the @Carnity community for organizing this! Looking forward to more such drives! We should take more photos with the group next time
  2. Hi @Frederic, @Davie Chase 1. I went to an ACE hardware store yesterday and couldn't get the off-road flag. Would you have an extra flag as well for the first timers in addition to the radio? 2. Regarding the tyre inflator, I saw different options - high power (connects with car battery using a jumper cable), medium power (operates with a cigarette lighter port) and low power (rechargeable battery type). Since I am new to this and not very sure how regularly I would be going for off-road drives, I feel I should take it slow and not invest in all the big and expensive equipment all at once. I decided to purchase a Xiaomi chargeable battery type tyre inflator (link: https://amzn.eu/d/3cJAi7X) since it seems easy to carry and is more economical. Can you please suggest if this would suffice or I am making the wrong choice here. I went through the off-road gear and understand that heavy duty compressors would last longer. But I was not able to decide if I need something heavy duty yet or there's an alternate choice which I can make here and save some bucks till I get very serious about the activity. I would prefer something that is good quality but convenient to use/carry (low power but good quality preferred over high power but low quality). Would highly appreciate your advice. Hope I am not being too much of a trouble, too many queries since it would be my first time with this group!
  3. Hi @Frederic Thank you for sharing the video, it's really helpful. Here are the details, as requested: - I drive a Lexus GX460, 2017 model, White color - I have no prior off-roading experience. I am excited and a bit nervous at the same time - I have not installed any additional tow hooks to the car. If someone can help/guide me with where to get these installed from, would be really helpful - I do not have the radio or safety flag at the moment. Since this would be my first drive, I would also need to procure all the other equipment listed in the checklist: air compressor, tyre deflator, shovel, pressure gauge etc. Are "Newbies" allowed to join their first drive without these or is it a must to procure these before the drive? Really looking forward to my first off-roading experience. If someone can guide me on how/where to procure all the mandatory items, would be really helpful Regards Gagandeep
