    Thank you kindly for a well organised and enjoyable journey through the sands @Gaurav, really nice area in which to practice the fundamentals - and keep @Rob S busy! Great work on the support side there too…good communications all round. Was a pleasure meeting a lot of new faces - hope to see you all again soon!

    Thank you, @Davie Smooth_Operator - as you say, a drive that had lots of different elements. The plan worked out well - nicely paced, good build up of challenge, and got to see some wildlife with the sunrise which is always a treat. I really enjoyed the second lead position, you made it very easy…even being kind enough to give me good lines to the left and the right… 😂

    Thank you, @Gaurav! The FB+ drives and the DCT were opportunities to learn huge amounts - shout out to my DCT team, the leads and the support crews for being generous with providing opportunities and advice.     Great drive @Looper, really enjoyed it - thank you. The second half was especially nice with the flowing lines and convoy moving well. No shovelling or major pauses…we nearly got to baja style progression today!

    Thanks @Ale Vallecchi and all - that was a really fun drive today. A nice mix of terrains and sands, with some good climbs and a very fresh area at the back end of the drive to practice some more technical skills on clean sands. Extra bonus points as I got to use my winch, and use 4Lo + Lockers…with some great advice from @Bjoern on how to anchor the car when winching in the future. Great stuff!

    Thank you again, @Simon D - that was a really fun drive! You did really well leading us through some fun lines and in-between many other convoys. We had some great flowing elements, and everyone drove in a very safe and effective way. First time in a while I’ve not had my shovel out! @Andrew John Melvill - best of luck with that CEL! I’ve popped a few pictures in the gallery - however I will share here a quick snap of the security camel that watched our exit… Also - some quick stats from the drive…

    Haha…very good. I’m either brave or stupid, and fortunately the difference between the two is almost impossible to tell 😂😂 Best of luck with the repair, real shame to see you leave early! @Looper Thank you for another excellent drive this morning. The “Part 3” section was a real delight.

    Thanks again for a fun morning out @Looper - it’s been a while since I’ve driven on more technical dunes and this type of sand. It was both fun with the well paced sections towards the start, and a good test of skills with the soft sections, especially with the progressive churning of the sand! See below a couple of snaps…firstly of the leader showing the way, and then the much more rare sight of the three way towing… 😂
