Fuel being filtered is very important. The fuel will sit in tanks that have been used for many years holding gas. Eventually sediment will build up in the bottom of the fuel tank (both from the gas station and the sediment already in your car). The fuel filter is there to make sure that your car only puts fuel into the engine. It may clog the lines or even damage the engine if the wrong stuff gets inside of it.

Yes Michelin are the best to go with if you can afford them. Although more expensive, they also put more time and money into tire research and development than any other country. At the end of the day, you are driving a missile-on-wheels, so those wheels better be safe. Good luck!

If you cannot get the ignition coil to go back into place, then you should bring it to a shop. It you continue to force it and try to "make it fit", then you are likely to cause even more damage. In the end, it will just cost you time, money, and a headache. Just bring it to a shop or dealership and let them do it properly.

New. KIAs are usually in poor quality when used. This tends to make them not last very long. I don't want to buy a car just to have something major go wrong in the first few months of ownership.

Just go to a local dealership. They will always use the correct parts for your vehicle, but will also normally best the most honest about your car's true damages. Then again, I can't speak for everyone. I'm sure there are plenty of dealership scam artists out there...

Well here's my view on it. Although yes, a car will lose a lot of value from the start, it is really worth buying it. You have NO idea what a driver did to a car before it got into your hands. Donuts, burnouts, etc. All of these things can drastically lower the life expectancy of a car.
