    How to tell if its good deal with incomplete info. How many kms done, how much u bought??? V8 Diesel is bit no for Dubai due to expensive diesel, but other than that its all good, let others comment if they have anything to add.

    i haven never heard of that. but if the car is overheating then the head gasket may blow off that i know.

    The air suspensions must be damaged by leaking.

    The sparks or ignition or the fuel injector could be stuck and the fuel must be pouring into the cylinder which them passes into the crankcase.

    Better remove the electrical mechanism of seat and check it outside whole assembly. May be something got stuck somewhere. I reckon somebody repair it here, or else you need whole assembly new. If you are lucky you can source from scrap in Sharjah for then quarter of new one.

    The compression test is not big deal just remove all spar kplugs and block open the throttle plate the compression should be around 140-160psi.

    Better don't do it yourself if u haven't done that before. Take to mechanic they will open the door from inside and carefully dismantle the glass and replace with new one. Safe.

    check the lock and latch on door it may be little ard and rough. Use some WD 40 on both. btw BMW doors are quiet heavy then other japanese cars so u actually have to use little more power in closing and opening that. Rem that

    Check the ac and clutch fan. If they both are fine, then check/ change thermostat. Then last check radiator for block/leak.

    Munich is complete no. Better drive to shj and get work at janoo. He knows what he is doing at lot lsser price than any of above mentioned guys.

    car must be locked accidentally at the time u removed the battery and forced open with key. usually set the key and set the lock as per manual and immobilizer will release and car will start IA.

    The TRANS FAILSAFE PROG is a default setting to your auto transmission when the computer detects a transmission problem. It could be serious or it could be nothing. The tranny stays in 3d or 4th gear only. Hence, it's very slow off the line. It is intended to allow you to crawl to a dealer for a fix. If battery is fine or new, check the alternator if its working fine. Weak battery or dying alternator not charging enuf battery cud also do this as tranny oil is electronic oil and cant perform fully with weaker battery. If both are fine then rush to AGMC and get proper diagnostic check to see if its gear failing on you or its valve. Its very complicated for anyone to tell without hooking upto computer system.

    It shudnt cost more than 70k - 80k aed, as its high mileage. I personally wudnt touch as in luxury car after high mileage of 100k - 150k its very difficult to re sale them again. You can get it check with Munich motors or Tony edwards it might cost around 500 aed for full checkup.

    evaporator leak is quiet common. With AGMC it might hurt you for 2k, find some german car expert in Al quoz it may cost less than 1k.

    Looks like battery if you are hear click click from ignition. Try jump start as sometime battery is slightly down for cranking vehicle but all lights and headlights works fine. If still it doesnt help check all the relays and fuses. More likely its an electrical issue.

    What could be the reason of rear tyres getting rubbed with arch. Is it bigger tyres or loose arch. Everything is standard and havent changed anything at all.

    google the pixel ribbon and buy from online, and get it changed from shj. Its very much known issue with BMW dispalys and usually workshop and AGMC doesnt repair it here.

    99% its a dead self (starter motor). But before doing expensive job, check free things first. Check all fuses and relays and if its fine then its Self. (CKPS) Crank position sensor or (CMPS) Cam shaft position sensor has all duly protected with road water and mud and have different symptom in non starting the car. They dont die all of sudden w/o showing any signs.

    Hi John start up problem could be from following things ONLY: Faulty / dead / weak battery Dead Starter (self) Fuel supply choked Spark plug isnt firing Elctrical malfunctioning from sensor / fuses / relay. Please tell me that is your car cranking but not starting? Or car self making click click but not cranking? Or its completely dead and no crank and no click click when you start?
