turbo325i

Hi guys I am new to the site and new to BMW . I am not sure if there is an issues but I think there is one . I have a 1994 BMW 325i (E36) manual it does not seam that I am getting the HP to the wheel . with shifting to 6000rmp I can get 40km in first 70 km in second 90 km in third 110 in 4 th and 140 to 160 in 5th then I am at red line . I am wondering if you guys have any in put . are the ECU governed to not let you go over 160 and that is why the small km per shift , is it the clutch going or is my tranny messed. I am losing a bit of coolant but and-may need to do the head gasket in the summer but the loss is so small I don't think it would have that big of an effect. Any ideas guys power to the wheels
