  1. Today
  2. Please check all the links and the new comer video at the top of page 1 of this drive post. There is a link there for Flap pole requirements. At this hour before the drive in the morning, you'll likely only be able to get a suction cup mount one. These are generally unreliable and typically fall off. Although some members manage to get good ones and get a good technique to keep them on even during more advanced drives.
  3. Hello Emmanuel, thanks for the welcome I have a ford raptor R 2023 equipped with a twin piston ARB Compressor and a water tank and some extra flood lights. Two hooks on the front and back confirmed and I also have a kinetic towing rope with two shackles. ill grab a flag pole mount and flag today. If you guys know where can I get a compatible mount that can be clipped on with no drilling I’d appreciate it. Otherwise looking forward to this drive! I’ve been off roading many times before however been a while, my most extreme drives were in the empty quarter in Saudi for a few days (had to take a couple of extra fuel barrels with us) and Liwa a few times. I always prefer to follow someone more experienced given the length of my car especially to gauge speed and angle of decent on sharp dunes I’ll check out the frequency you use on the radio and program mine in advance, I have a Motorola device, not the best but does the job in a 250-300m range I’d say.
  4. Thanks allot @Emanuel It was nice talking to you, sure m going now for the flag n equipments
  5. Hi @Kushal Bhagchandani and welcome to the Carnity family. Thanks for joining the drive and it was good to speak with you earlier. Besides the equipment you already have, as a must you will need a flag and mount, a compressor with an inflator hose, and a tire pressure gauge. Since this is your very first drive, arrive early enough to take your time getting setup up and to ask for help as needed. Finally for now, please ensure you look through each of the links and watch the Newbie video at the beginning of this forum post (top of page 1). Welcome to the Carnity Community @Khalid Sharaf. Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow morning. In the meantime, tell us a bit about yourself, your car, and any previous offroading experience you may have. Also confirm you have front and rear tow hooks/recovery points, a programmable radio with Carnity channels programmed already, a safety flag and mount, compressor with inflator hose, tire deflator and pressure gauge.
  6. Dear @Sebastian Nohse & @Eddie-Dune-Glider - Apologies, I will not be able to consider you for this drive, as the track, pace and overall drive is planned for slightly experienced FB+ members i.e Atleast 3FB+ Drives completed, and I see you for you this is first and second FB+ Drive respectively, hence am afraid - However, I assure you these types of drives I often repeat and am deftly looking forward to having you - Thanks for your understanding on this one !

  11. Dear Desertnauts @J-P L, @Eddie-Dune-Glider, and @Rajath Shetty. Thanks for joining the drive. No need for a lenghty briefing. I'll post the meeting point in the drive's thread; in any case it will be December 2nd Cafeteria, just off of Pink Rock. We'll improvise the convoy on the spot but still make sure to reach and deflate so we may start as close to 3:30 as possible. See you all tomorrow to enjoy a quick and compact convoy.
  12. Hello @Khalid Sharaf. As mentioned by @J-P L you are not yet able to join this Fewbie drive due to your Newbie status. I'll sign you out of the drive. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  13. @Khalid Sharaf i see you have registered for this Fewbie drive, please withdraw as your current status is Newbie and you will not be allowed to participate on this drive. There is a Newbie drive posted for Saturday morning, good luck and we hope to see you reaching Fewbie level in the near future.
  14. Presuming @Richard Jowett you have a compressor for inflating your tires and one common method and or tool for deflation.
  15. Last week
  16. Thanks gentlemen.... appreciate your congrats, see you in the dunes!
  17. Hi @Emanuel Thanks for the message, really looking forward to Saturday and meeting up. I’ve lived in the UAE for over 15 years but I have a little off-road experience but I wouldn’t call myself experienced in anyway. I have a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a 3” lift and off-road tyres, I have the tow hooks and before the weekend I will have the flag and radio. Thanks again again and I’ll see you all on Saturday morning. Richard
  18. Congrats @Chema, enjoy next level and the learning that comes with it!
  19. Hi @Shane Phillips, I was promoted to Fewbie level 8 weeks back and i have completed 8 fewbie drives so far which was announced & scheduled every weekend diligently. I suggest, if you could go through the community structure mentioned in the website. Hope this helps. Cheers, Rajath

  21. Great to hear this @Asif Ahamed. See you Saturday morning for a fun morning in Lisali.
  22. It's there and called Leave Event. Directly below 'You are going in the green box. I could do this for you but really we all need to manage our own RSVPs.
  23. Hello @Asif Ahamed. Understood. Your name was signed up in the Manage tab, and I just moved it to the Going tab. As I recall, this had also happened last week. Not sure how your name ends up in the Manage tab.
  24. I was promoted to Fewbie, I guess that is not enough. I think I will just quit the club as I am unable to join any drives suitable to my level. There is also not that many drives on the club.
