What a fantastic morning, just what I needed! Ridge after ridge after ridge all joined together by some sick lines. Was fun to meet up with Fred's newbie convoy, even got to give them a ridge cresting recovery masterclass! Thanks to @_luke_ as lead, @Diego for his kinetic rope and everyone who joined!
  6. Selling my 2012 GMC Yukon SLT, aka the “Black Beast”. Many Carnity members have seen this car on desert drives over the years. It has been used off-road, but maintained properly and never treated as a disposable desert toy. The Yukon originally came with the 5.3L V8 and is now running a 6.2L V8 with the 6-speed 6L80 automatic transmission. The transmission shift points have also been tuned, making the gear changes quicker, smoother and much more responsive, especially in the desert. Some of the upgrades / features include: 6.2L V8 engine Tuned transmission shift points Android head unit with Car Scanner Strands LED light bar Additional fog / auxiliary lights Flag mount Desert-ready setup 270amp alternator 265/70R17 Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 tyres (4+1) It has also been used as our backup family / school car, so it is not a stripped-out off-road build and remains perfectly usable as a daily SUV. I’m selling it simply because I don’t have enough time to use it anymore, especially since I have another off-road car now. It is an older Yukon and it has seen the desert, so I’m not going to describe it as “like new”. But it is a proper, capable truck with a lot of character, and I would much rather see it go to someone who understands these cars than spend the rest of its life driving between a basement parking and Business Bay.
