Fine for the traffic light

Hey people. Can anyone tell me hwo much is the fine for breaking the traffic light. Last night, i broke the traffic light and drove on the red signal. Not really sure, how much the fine be? Please guide.

Well it's certainly more than severla thousand AED, but you can also lose your license for some period it depends how this traffic violation happened.

Jumping traffic light is 2000 dirhams + 12 black points. If any accident happen then it's even more serious penalties and damage to public property fines up to 30,000 dirhams is possible.

 

One of my known friend cousin brother accidentally jumped red light and hit another car and that car hit pedestrian as an affect of this accident. My friend cousin was in Jail until that pedestrian got released from hospital with a hair line injury. He has been fined 8000 dirhams additional for causing damage to the fence near the red light.
