Engine Flushing

Can anyone suggest me when to flush the car engine? And it is really a regular thing to do?

Engine flushing is when there is abnormal sludge deposited on your engine, the process of flushing it out. If you are irregular with the oil change in your car, then may be you need engine flushing. But if you are always regular with the oil change, engine flushing is not required.

Well i was never regular with the oil change, and thats why i suppose the workshop people suggested me to go for engine flushing. So do you have an idea how much does it cost?

I would recommend using this prcoedure once in two years. Remember that you should use a service that has experience with flushing engines otherwise you can damage the engine.
