Is it worth getting an ATV?

I was wondering if any of you think it's worth buying an ATV. 

When I feel like going off road, I usually just rent one! But sometimes it can get expensive so, just out of curiosity, is it worth investing money in an ATV?

To be honest, it depends on your frequency. If you go every week and rent every time then it's better to buy one. Apart from buying it also requires maintenance and towing trailer blocking one of the parking spot that you need to consider.
