when to change the tiers

i am a owner of 2006 Traverse and my question to u guys is if someone can tell me the frequency of tiers to be changed please

would want to inform that they have not been changed yet since i had bought the car

Number of km is an ideal indicator, but it depends on manufacturer to manufacture.

As a best rule tire shud be changed in 3 -5 years depending on km they have done. On average it shud be between 40k - 60k. If its more than 60k and more than 4 years better to change, as you might not get passing done, if it isnt having enough tread left.

Another indicator is tread too. See if all around tire has more than 5mm of tread left at least is fine, less than 5mm is risky.
