Thomas Varghese
Please can the club confirm for how many days we have to not join the drives after the COVID 19 vaccination. I have not taken the vaccination yet but would like to know if I have to leave the drives if I take the vaccination so that I can plan and book an appointment. Till now didn't see the club policy on this, hence asking for clarity. Once the vaccination is done does a member got to inform the club that he is vaccinated or update this info in the member profile as now that option is not there. M.Seidam
As far as I know being vaccinated doesn’t imply leave from work it’s different than being COVID positive . however some ppl do develop side effects from vaccine such as headache, fever 🤒 or generalised weakness . So ppl get off work simply because of such down feeling for a day or so depends on severity. however I am not aware of any internal policy in Carnity regarding off drive post vaccine . Our legends can clarify more Edited March 22, 2021 by Mohamed Seidam 1
Rahimdad
I have already taken both my vaccination shots. I did not feel anything on the first shot, but second shot I had some pain in the arm along with slight fever and tiredness. However, these symptoms lasted just 1 day and since I took my vaccine on Sunday I was able to drive on Friday without any issues. I suggest you observe yourself after taking the vaccine and determine if you can or cannot come for the drive. There is no rule in Carnity that you cannot come for a drive if you've taken your vaccine. Being Covid19 positive is another story which is well covered already. 2 1

Thank you @Rahimdad & @Mohamed Seidam for the clarification. I didn't want to break any protocol of the club, hence asked the question. Now things are clear and I will try to fix the appointment for vaccination.
Lakshmi Narasimhan
I took vaccine on 2nd Mar and had side effects for 2 days high fever, body pain, couldn’t lift my hand, head ache but I was able to join drive on 5 Mar. After vaccine you might test positive for some days. Unless you have prolonged high fever nothing to worry.
