when should i change break pads

how frequently do i need to change the break pads

1st service i had got them changed and now i have to change them on my 5th service

please help

It is entirely on your usage. Some people drive less and brakes more and that too hard brakings and eat brake pad every 3 months. Others drive sensibly and plan their drive and plan their brake in time and avoid hard braking and their brake pads last for 2 years.
