Turbo on a A3 2.0

Hi guys

Is it technically possible to fit a turbo charger on on naturally aspirated 2007 Audi A3 with a 2.0 ltrs engine ?

Other than the intercooler and ECM is there anything ?

2.0 L I4 FSI and 2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6A shares absolutely same platform so you can actually installed Turbo without any big trouble, just need to double check the spacing issue and other wiring flow pattern.

What about the pistons ? Are they the same ? Can they withstand higher stresses and temperatures ??

Which engine you got: AXW / BLR / BLX / BLY / BVY / BVX / BVZ

Soryy for late reply, and another sorry that BVZ you cant turbo boost as it has different platform and that's why i assume it must be using different internal components for turbo alternates.

If you had BVY then you could have tried within safe bracket.

If you are really keen plonk the other engine block and then turbo charge it. Slightly more pricey but lesser than swapping engine.

You may find one in used accidental half cut cars.
