how can i repair my power steering on my 2000 Accord?

when my power steering went bad i changed the the steering pump but the power steering is still not working. Was the solution to this problem correctly diagnosed?

when installing the pump did you bleed out the pump. If yes then give it 24 hrs rest and see if it is working.

My second doubt goes that you may have installed a damaged pump.

Go to a mechanic and get the new pump checked.
