Front lights turning on and off themselves

Hello Audi Dubai members,

I have an audi a4, 2006 model and it is equipped with Xenon lights. When I switch on the lights, they work fine for about a minute, and then suddenly they starting turning on and off randomly, sometimes the right and sometimes the left side.

Please advise me which parts need replacement, how can I find them, and where can I fix them

Would appreciate it to share your experience with this

Xenon ballasts is freaking, as no other component to doubt other than ballasts itself. And unfortunately its the most expensive part in headlight system. For changing, i am not sure about mechanic or garage as i try new mechanic every time to get better service (first time). You can look few fellas here: http://www.audidubai.com/workshop/

Thank you very much for the info, I went to an audi only used parts shop and garage, the guy was really nice and helpful, though he is very busy with audi cars. Turns out the problem is only the bulbs, the a4 model uses special type of Xenon bulbs with attached motor or something.

I think that could be the problem with the circuit board ticking between off-on position, I would suggest you take the vehicle to service guys, so they could clean with solvent.
