How true is it that the rusting under

Under my commander there is some rusting that has started and my mech says that it will get worst spread and damage the car big way its better to get rustproofing done that will cost me 2000 dhs.

How true is this?

rust proofing is usually done in cooler countries that snow or rain a lot. in Dubai in my experience you dont need to do it but as a preventive measure its a good idea.

About the price i suggest get a second opinion as 2000 AED is a bit over priced.

He is right. The ones in Dubai charge WAY too much for the service. Most of the time living here you do not get a rusted car, so it is not a service needed often. That said, they can charge a lot for it.
