Vapour Lock

my 1997 disc when engine is warm and its hot outside the car loses power when accelerating.

it backfires through the intake and i cant restart.

after checked for fuel pressure there was vapor from the fuel line

what could cause the vapor build up in the fuel rail?

Im not sure if your model car has fuel return valve next to engine or not, more than likely it shud and that's wht is creating this problem.
