RR Sport Tyre Pressure

Guys,

I have recently bought a RR Sport Supercharged 06 model fitted with Continental 275/40 R20 tyres. Do you have any idea what should be the ideal tyre pressure on these tyres given the fact that I drive just by myself 90% of times.

i would run them at 35psi front and rear and 32 in the top summer months as the heat will inflate them more. these are cold pressures. so check first thing in the morning before driving

Thanks Doc. I am currently running them on 38 psi for all 4. Sounds like thats too high.

These tyres upper limit is upto 40 when under full load. However keeping in between 30 - 35 all tires is quite appropriate. When in city as Dubai traffic keep at 30-32, its the best pressure for comfort and safety. As higher the pressure lesser the comfort you get in city over the bumps, and while on highway keep at 35 is best and you will get better fuel mileage.

Every tire hold imprint for max load and max psi. Check that FYI. However 30 - 35 is quite safe range to inflate tires in Dubai hot and very hot weather. lol.

@Gaurav: I doubt its 40, it should be more atleast 45 psi.
