gupta Posted May 24, 2011 Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 when my car did not start after few attempts i charged the battery and the car started but lasted only till my destination as i had to recharge the battery again to reach home. upon reaching i changed the batter and the car ran for a week without any problem and after a week it started again. memasterguy Posted May 24, 2011 Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 Your car alternator isnt charging the battery hence in first place as per proper diagnostic you should be changing the alternator not the battery.
