boneyd
Generally, the idle speed of the car becomes unsteady when there is any kind of deposit in the idle speed control valve. Most of the times, it is carbon components or fuel varnish deposits present in the valve which affects makes it so unsteady.
naseem
Is it possible to clean it manually or do i need to go to an expert for the same?
boneyd
Yes, you can also clean the valve on your own. Use an engine cleaner to clean the IAC valce. At first, remove the IAC valve from the throttle body. And then use the cleaner to clean the tip of the valve. Also, clean the ports in the throttle body if required. After the cleaner is soaked, re install the valve back into the body and start the engine. You won't experience any white smoke coming down after then.
