cant engage in any gear

i cant engage my gear in any speed or reverse .

why and i am sure it cannot be the gearbox coz usually it should have some kind of indication before going bad

could there be another reason for this???

Well don't be so sure that it cant be gearbox, in some case gear box blow off like this too.

Most likely i doubt the solenoid or some other part below gearbox responsible for shift is sleeping. I am not 100% sure mechanic need to diagnose before making any conclusion.
